Who I Am

I learned to sew many years ago and it is a part of my life.

I am still a Registered Nurse (graduated from the University of Maryland with a BSN - February 1965). I have worked in Recovery Room, Neurological Care Units and Medical-Surgical Units and then when they started, Critical Care Units. I have Wound care certification and Administration experience as well. I am retired from working but not from nursing.

All of that being said, there has always been a certain level of detail and attention that I practiced in nursing and find myself giving to my entire life. In addition, I have always had sewing as a part of my life. Never thought of it as a hobby, just something I did. Making clothes for family, household projects, helping to upholster and projects for the outdoors. Not perfect and certainly not finished yet.

I thought to share my method, include my resources and how I use them. I have opinions- and look at things from the perspective of myself. I don’t claim to be an expert. There is so much to learn.

The projects are not in order except in my mind.
